Don’t Miss the Chance to Live Like The Dude! Jeff Bridges’ Historic Montecito Ranch is on Sale for Under $8 Million

Don’t Miss the Chance to Live Like The Dude! Jeff Bridges’ Historic Montecito Ranch is on Sale for Under $8 Million

If you are someone who dreams of living in a ranch like The Dude, your day-dreaming days are over! The famous actor, singer, and producer Jeff Bridges lists his recently remodeled four-acre-compound in Montecito, California for only $7,995 million. Bridges and his wife, Susan Geston bought the equestrian-friendly estate under a trust in April 2014 for $6.85 million according to the reports.

Feel the Nostalgia in a Modern Way

The property has at least five sovereign structures to offer. The main house was built in the early 1900s by the well-respected local architect James Osborne Craig. It features an ingenious blend of innovative details and modern decors.

The one-story Spanish renaissance style household has three bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms. According to the reports, most of the gigantic picture windows are from the primitive installations back in 1919. It also features five semi-circular chimneys, hardwood flooring, and arched roofing.

Jeff Bridges sells his historic house in Montecito, California for under $8 million.

An enormous master suite is an optimal spot for sight-seeing with a bay-oriented window. The couple enhanced the master bathrooms with a state-of-the-art deep-soaking tub, a glass-confined shower, and French doors leading you out onto the radiant garden. They also have a spacious walk-in closet large enough for each one of them.

The Oscar award-winning actor also has a close-by pool and spa area ringed by a porch with red bricks partially screened by tons of large oak trees in his compound for optimal privacy. It has its own family room, office, sauna, and a 5,000-square-foot carriage house bind with a workshop and garage where Mr. Bridges spends most of his time doing his hobbies like playing music, painting, and pottery.

The property includes a 5-stall horse barn with a corral and a tack room.

In addition to that are amenities like a private well, a citrus orchard in an often drought-plagued Montecito, and a butterfly garden with a pond. Even though Mr. Bridges did not have horses, his ranch has a gated five-stall equestrian facility with a coral and a tack room.

Stronger Than Ever!

Way back in January 2018, the property had been severely damaged by mudslides in the area according to Mr. Bridges himself. They were even forced to desert their house via helicopter because of the said natural disaster. After the major renovation, real estate listing images prove that the Bridges’ property is flawless and fully functional after last year’s calamitous incident.

Be the Neighbor of the Hollywood Stars!

Aside from the obvious luxurious features of the Bridges’ ranch, the property also has its famous neighbors. The media mogul Oprah Winfrey owns the 66-acre “Promised Land” mega compound nearby.

The television host, Ellen DeGeneres just recently sold her ranch to Tinder founder, Sean Rad. Now, who wouldn’t dream of living in a peaceful and star-studded neighborhood like this?

The Bridges clan recently sold a Tuscan-style hillside property for nearly $16 million to energy investor Matthew Harris back in 2017. Listing agent Sally Hanseth of Coldwell Banker said the couple wants to focus on their home in Montana.
