There are a lot of rumors making rounds in the media about a potential relationship between Canadian Rapper Drake and Halle Berry.
Although the rumor doesn’t have a strong foundation, they are only based on little hints like clothes and Instagram captions, we all know that big things start from little things like these, right?
The Halle Berry Jacket
It all started when Drake was seen sporting a leather jacket that had Halle’s face on it, and this made people believe that there could actually be a budding relationship between both superstars.
The situation got more attention last week when Halle had to appear on Jimmy Fallon’s show for the promotion of chapter 3 of John Wick which will begin to air this week.
Halle’s Interview With Jimmy
Jimmy in his cheeky self, started the conversation telling Halle about the picture of Drake in a jacket that had her picture on it. Halle did not seem surprised, and as a matter of fact, she acknowledged the fact that she was aware of the picture.
She also said that the situation made her feel compelled to respond to Drake’s gestures while downplaying the rumor of a budding relationship.
Halle responded that she decided not to let that go undone, and that, earlier in the day, she’d post something for Drake on her Instagram, emphasizing the fact that the post was just for him. The post-Halle was referring to was a gorge snap of herself in a color grey muscle shirt that had Drakes lyrics boldly written on it.
Although the truth is that the lyrics are from a Big Sean song that Drake features on, but who cares, the message is for Drake and she also made sure that was clear with other drake lyrics as her caption. This seems to have fueled the romance rumors, and a lot of their fans are loving it.
Gifting the Jacket
In other news, Drake actually offered to give the Jacket to Halle, but Halle trying to steer away from the relationship rumors offered tore-gift the jacket to Jimmy Fallon after he was trying to make a big deal out of it.
With her appearance on the talk show and how she reacted to the relationship (with Drake) issues that were raised, there is more reason to believe that something might be brewing, and maybe they just want to keep it on a low.
For now, the only thing we can hold on to is Drake wearing a jacket that has a face on it and she returns the favor by posting a picture of herself in a top that has the rapper’s lyrics inscribed. You might want to add Drake’s offer to gift her the jacket to that list.
If the rumors turn out to be true, then we just might be seeing Halle flying around the world with Drake in his new private jet.
